AUGUST 4TH 1-4PM - A day of summer fun!

We invite you to join us in celebrating local, talented authors and artists from around MA.  There will be story times, author readings and signings, writing and art activities, vendors and more!

 In addition to all of the excitement, come see the talented and creative Green Bean Project, a wonderful local Children's theater group as they entertain you with their original pop-up production of "Goose Tales".  You will be sure to be delighted and laugh a lot!

Summer Showcase Authors and Artists

Josh Funk  is the author of books like the Lady Pancake & Sir French Toast series, the ​It's Not a Fairy Tale series, the How to Code with Pearl and Pascal series, Lost in the Library, Dear Dragon, Pirasaurs!, Albie Newton, and more. Learn more about Josh

Susan Lubner  is the author of three picture books and the middle grade novel, THE UPSIDE OF ORDINARY. Her stories have also appeared in Spider and Highlights. Besides reading and writing, Susan loves taking long walks, spending time on the water at Cape Code, the color blue, painting and eating lots of chocolate. She lives in Massachusetts, but was born and raised in Maine, where her family always had two, three or sometimes four cats. 

Kate Narita is an award winning  writer and a fourth-grade teacher. She lives and hikes on a small mountain in central Massachusetts with her husband, two sons, and dog. During the summer days, she marvels at the dragonflies darting about and carefully checks cut flowers for katydids, posing as stems, before bringing bouquets into her house.

J. Roach-Evans is  a New England based watercolor artist, writer, college professor, graphic designer and the author/illustrator of children's books. Many of the seaside illustrations are from a series of nature books that she's been working on.  

Joannie Duris enjoys discovering new places tucked away in the corners of New England. She has had stories and articles published in several national children’s magazines, and on BoomWriter, a writing website for kids. She leads a local Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) critique group of fellow writers.

Lisa Shea has published over 350 books on Amazon in practically every main genre. For fiction her topics include mystery, romance, literary, science fiction, fantasy, thriller, dystopian, time travel, and historical. Her non-fiction books include healthy eating, meditation, yoga, relationships, the environment, journaling, writing, getting published, and marketing. Several of Lisa's series feature local ties.

Art Martin - Check out my newly released novel! Summer of 1840 takes place in the quintessential town of Millbury, MA in 1840. Darlene Corbett is a professional speaker, author, and success coach.  She has been in the people business for over thrity years and fervently believes everyone is capable of getting unstuck.

M.J. Fleming lives in Central Ma with her husband and three children. After the birth of their third child, she decided to leave her career as an event manager and pursue her lifelong dream of writing a book, My One and Only

 Christopher J. Caron is an avid writer, reader, sports fan, pop culture addict, beer & wing aficionado, die-hard musician and class clown. A huge lover of horror/suspense/supernatural movies who's favorites are: 'The Exorcist', 'Psycho' and 'The Amityville Horror'. He is also big into courtroom thrillers, comedies, science fiction and fantasy movies.  For more information -

Tim Baird is a local fantasy author and has penned the 'Dragon in the Whites' series. The series features two novels thus far focusing on the hunt of a terrifying dragon unleashing its fury upon the modern-day New England landscape, with the third and final novel of the series set to release in Late Summer 2019.

Lily Penter is a retired software engineer and a native New Englander. 

Lily's first book, a volume in the 'Losing the Bubble" series, is the 'The Green Bough', in which fifteen-year-old Hank is thrown back in time to post-revolutionary war era Massachusetts and finds himself caught up in Shays Rebellion. 

Christine Beauchaine is the author of Bowl-O-Rama and Winds of Change: The Hurricane of '38. She is a part of the Sutton Writing Group.

Linda DeFeudis is a local author and artist who has written three phonics- based books for early readers. She is a part of the Sutton Writing Group.

William Smith lives in MA with his wife, Kathy. He is retired from healthcare and among other things enjoys spending time with his four grandsons. He was inspired to write his first book after visiting his grandson, Aidan, in Georgia and meeting Jimmy, Aidan'l little blue frog. 

Jessica Peill-Meininghaus lives with her family in New England.  There she makes art, writes, plays, teaches, walks in Nature and plots ways to re-wild her yard while feeding the birds. I'm a Gnome (Random House) will be out soon! She will be at Enchanted Passage doing a gnome felting workshop on August 25 @ 1:00 following a 12:00 reading and storytime.
